Mask of an older woman, painted white for the communion with tribal ancestors. Her mouth is opened partway and her lips and teeth are painted black to symbolize strength. Her nose is aquiline, her small ears are painted red for love, and her eyes are closed; her eyebrows are drawn in a thin black line. Her hair is gathered on the top of her head in style typical of the Tikar tribes of Cameroon.
